Friday, September 19, 2025 - Police officers on patrol intercepted a black Nissan X-Trail, registration number KDN 051S, at Soko Mjinga along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.
The vehicle, which had two occupants, was found to be
transporting several sacks of a dry, green substance suspected to be narcotic
drugs.
It was immediately escorted to Magumu Police Station where,
upon a thorough search, officers recovered multiple sacks of the suspected
narcotics.
The two suspects were placed in custody and are awaiting
further police action.
In a statement, the National Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to the fight against narcotics trade and urged members of the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by volunteering timely information.
