In a candid Facebook post, she wrote:
“I have had relationships that ended because I insisted that
I don’t like video calls. And I don’t care.”
Her statement quickly went viral, drawing thousands of
comments.
Some netizens applauded her boldness, arguing that personal
preferences should always be respected in a relationship.
To them, refusing video calls was a matter of boundaries,
not commitment.
On the other hand, critics dismissed her stance as petty and
unnecessary, suggesting that a simple video call shouldn’t be enough to break a
relationship.
Interestingly, another group chimed in with a different
perspective - arguing that people who constantly demand video calls may
struggle with trust issues and use them as a way to monitor their partner’s
whereabouts.
From this angle, the lady’s refusal was seen as a stand for her independence and peace of mind.

Is she also a kikuyu? I usually see kikuyus mentioned severally but no other tribe e.g. the kikuyu lady shiku bringing a muzungu on matrimonial bed.
