Tuesday, July 29, 2025 - A bizarre and unfortunate incident has sparked a heated debate after eight goats died on the spot inside a cabbage farm,and now, the act is being linked to intentional poisoning.
According to multiple witnesses, a farm worker is accused of deliberately applying fertiliser directly onto mature cabbage, not as a farming practice, but allegedly as a trap for goats from a neighboring homestead that often wandered into the farm.
Unfortunately, it didn’t take long before the goats broke through the unfenced farm and feasted on the fertiliser-laced vegetables, and within minutes, they died.
