Chaos in Wajir County Assembly as MCAs physically wrestle Sergeant-at-Arms in an attempt to grab the mace from him (VIDEO)

Tuesday, July 30, 2024-Business came to a standstill in Wajir County Assembly after the MCAs physically wrestled the Sergeant-at-Arms in an attempt to grab the mace from him as he walked in to conduct the house business.

The fracas occurred after funds were allocated for the county First Lady's office and residences for the Governor, Deputy Governor and Speaker.

The disgruntled MCAs allege that the Governor is misusing public money with no visible progress on projects.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was whisked away to safety when the situation escalated.
