Wednesday, January 17, 2024 - A man suspected of killing a lady at an Airbnb along TRM Drive over the weekend before dismembering her body has been arrested.
A neighbour was called by detectives from DCI
headquarters to give information regarding the suspect.
The suspect’s neighbour saw the CCTV footage and discovered he could be someone he knows
in one of the estates in Syokimau.
“I used to give him cars for hire, so when I saw the
photo on TV I realized it’s him,” he
said.
He described the
neighbour as a "calm and collected fellow," adding that he saw him in
custody but didn't say much as he looked confused.
Two other suspects, including a Nigerian national,
have been arrested in connection with the murder.
The Nigerian was arrested at JKIA while boarding a
flight to Abuja.
