Saturday, August 8, 2026 - Seasoned Citizen TV anchor and film producer Rashid Abdalla is embroiled in a scandal after an upcoming actress, Becky, accused him of preying on upcoming female actresses.

Becky leaked what she claimed were private chats of Rashid asking her for “mechi” and alleged that many upcoming actresses have gone through the same ordeal.

However, she later deleted the chats.

The exposé has shocked many fans, as Rashid has, over the years, curated an image of a responsible family man and a celebrity with strong moral values.

Besides being a new presenter, Rashid is a film producer and scriptwriter.

Together with his wife Lulu, they run a production house which has so far produced captivating telenovelas such as Maria and Zora.
