Saturday, July 25, 2026 - A whistleblower has claimed that the late Rongo University student Sharon Otieno was having illicit affairs with both former Governor Okoth Obado and a Member of County Assembly.
According to the whistleblower, Sharon was a good girl until
she started dating the former Kanyidoto Ward MCA, popularly known as Mula.
Mula, now deceased, gave Sharon ideas on how to extort money
from Obado.
He picked up her phone and wrote a message to Obado
demanding a home in Nairobi, a Prado, and a good job.
The former MCA was to get his cut if the deal went through.
Mula also brought Daily Nation journalist Barrack Oduor into
the extortion deal to scare Obado.
Barrack, who was a
prosecution witness in the case, managed to jump out of the moving vehicle
after he was abducted alongside Sharon.
