Thursday, July 23, 2026 – A Kayole-based pastor is embroiled in a scandal after it emerged that he had divorced his Akorino wife of eight years and settled down with another woman.
Addressing his congregants, Pastor Ibu Wa Kayole, who has a
huge following on social media, confirmed that he had parted ways with his
first wife, saying their marriage had become irreparable.
He said there was no need to remain in a marriage that was
no longer working simply to please other people.
It has now emerged that, besides other marital differences, his estranged wife had denied him "mechi" for a whole year, a claim that has sparked widespread reactions on social media.
