Thursday, July 23, 2026 - A man has taken to Facebook to appeal for public assistance in identifying a woman he alleges drugged him before stealing several valuable items and withdrawing money from his bank accounts.
In the post, the man claimed the incident occurred recently
after he was drugged by the woman, leaving him vulnerable to theft.
According to him, he lost four mobile phones, his national
ID card, bank cards, a power bank, and other important personal belongings.
He further alleged that his friend, identified as Washington
Odhiambo, also lost two mobile phones during the same incident.
The victim also claimed that money was withdrawn from his
bank accounts without his authorization.
He said the matter has already been reported to the
authorities and is currently under investigation, adding that investigators
have obtained CCTV footage of the woman believed to be linked to the incident.
“We have obtained CCTV footage. If you recognize her or have
any information that could assist the investigation, kindly contact me on
0725274544 or report to the nearest police station, ”he wrote.
The man also cautioned members of the public to verify any phone calls, text messages, or requests purporting to come from him, saying his personal information may have been compromised.
