Tuesday, May 12, 2026 - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah’s elite security team put on a display as he arrived at KICC for the high-level Africa Forward Summit attended by Heads of State from across the continent.

The hawk-eyed and heavily armed bodyguards left no room for error as they carried out their close-protection duties with precision and tight coordination.

At one point, a bodyguard attached to Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi was seen being stopped when he attempted to touch a luxurious vehicle ferrying the Egyptian President, with one of the security officers signaling him to halt.

The embarrassing moment has sparked online reactions, with many pointing out the strict protocols observed by visiting presidential security teams.
