2026 - Former KTN journalist, Saddique Shaban, has raised concern after
President William Ruto acquired a new luxurious Airbus helicopter, days after
the Finance Bill 2026 was published exempting helicopter parts from tax.
In the Bill, helicopter parts are exempted from tax on
claims that the Government was supporting the aviation industry.
However, according to the seasoned journalist, there is more
than meets the eye.
Ruto is expected to lease the new helicopter to Government Ministries
and agencies as he expands his multi-billion helicopter business.
