2026 - Activist and social media personality, Cop
Shakur, has sounded the alarm over a notorious car thief
wreaking havoc in Nairobi.
In a post on X, Shakur identified the suspect as Lewis
Mugo, alleging that he ferries stolen vehicles across the
border into Tanzania.
According to Shakur, Mugo has been arrested several times
but always manages to secure release on bail, allowing him to continue his
operations.
Shakur further disclosed that Mugo and his clique have
devised a cunning method of working with rogue car wash attendants.
The scheme involves duplicating car keys while vehicles are being cleaned, making it effortless for the gang to later drive off with the cars without raising suspicion.
