Monday, April 13, 2026 - Mumias East MP, Peter Kalerwa Salasya, has once again surprised Kenyans after taking to social media to introduce his newborn daughter.

The youthful MP revealed that the daughter is five weeks old, proudly noting her striking resemblance to him.

The MP described his new daughter as “destined for greatness,” embracing fatherhood with pride and humor.

But Salasya didn’t stop there.

He went on to share his long‑term family ambitions, declaring his desire to father at least 12 children and marry between three to five wives.

“My heart desires to have at least 12 children and at least three wives to five wives. I’m a polygamous man naturally,” he posted.

This latest announcement comes just months after he introduced other additions to his growing family, including a baby boy in June 2025 and a daughter, Ameeliah Reign Kalerwa, in December 2025.

Salasya’s revelations have sparked mixed reactions online.

While some applauded his traditional outlook, others expressed shock at the rapid expansion of his family and his bold marital plans.
