2026 - A family in Nairobi is demanding answers and justice after their kin
was reportedly found dead days after he went missing under mysterious
circumstances.
According to a close friend who shared the account online,
Sule went missing on the
night heavy flooding struck Nairobi four days ago.
His family and friends searched for him until last night when they were informed that
a body believed to be his had been taken to the City Mortuary.
At the morgue, relatives were initially shown images of the body and identified
it as Sule.
Since he was a young Muslim man, the
family quickly began making arrangements for Islamic prayers and burial, which had been
scheduled for 1 PM.
However, the burial plans were halted after the family
conducted a full body
viewing.
During the viewing, relatives reportedly noticed multiple bruises on his body
and what they described as clear
marks on his wrists resembling tightened handcuffs.
The disturbing discovery prompted the family to suspend the burial plans and request a
postmortem examination to
establish the cause of death.
Sule’s parents are said to be devastated, noting that he was
their last remaining child
after the recent death of his only sibling.
Friends and relatives are now calling for a thorough investigation into the
circumstances surrounding his death, claiming that he may have
been killed by police
officers in the Pangani area before his body was allegedly recorded as that of
a flood victim.
The family and friends say they will continue pushing for justice as they wait for the outcome of the postmortem and further investigations.
