2026 - A Kenyan woman named Mbiama has gone public with
claims that celebrated musician, Otile Brown, is the father
of her daughter.
She says she has tried reaching out to the singer privately
for years, but her efforts have been unsuccessful.
According to Mbiama, she has been forced to use social media
after Otile allegedly ignored her messages on WhatsApp and Instagram.
Her hope, she says, is for him to finally meet his child.
In a heartfelt video shared online, she introduces herself
and explains her plea:
“Hello beautiful people my name is Mbiama, mimi ni mkenya
mama wa motto mmoja, niko mbele yenyu siku ya leo kuwambia kua mimi ni mama wa
motto mmoja msichana, and ningependa motto wangu apatane na babake.”
“Mtoto wangu tangu azaliwe hajawahi patina na babake, na
ni vizuri kama mama naeza furahi mtoto apatane na baba yake siku moja.”
She adds that she has been trying to reach Otile since her
pregnancy but communication has remained poor:
“Nimekua nikitafuta baba yake for a long time since I was
pregnant but communication was poor.”
“Nimekuwa nikitext WhatsApp na Instagram but no replies
from Otile. So niko hapa kama mama ambaye anatakia motto wake mazuri.”
Mbiama insists that her decision to go public is not about
tarnishing the singer’s name but about her daughter’s right to know her father:
“So Otile Brown, naomba ujue mimi kuja social media
kusema tuko na mtoto siokwamba nataka kukuharibia jina bali nimejaribu
kukutafuta, nimejaribu njia zote but sijakupata na nataka wewe na mtoto mpatane
juu ataanza kuniuliza who is my dad.”
Her revelation has stirred conversation online, with
netizens divided - some sympathizing with her situation, while others await
Otile Brown’s response.
The musician is yet to publicly address the allegations.
