Thursday, January 29, 2026 - Chaos erupted in the streets of Mombasa after a tuktuk driver was arrested following a violent confrontation with a police officer.
Reports indicate that the driver brandished a panga,
threatening to attack the officer.
Quick action by law enforcement officers ensured the
situation was brought under control without further injury.
In the video circulating online, the man can be seen being
restrained after the officer successfully snatched the panga from him, before
being taken away to custody.
