Thursday, September 11, 2025 - Tragedy has struck a family in Juja after a domestic quarrel turned fatal, leaving a young mother dead.
The deceased, identified as Rosemary Muthoni, a middle-aged woman and
mother of one, was allegedly attacked by her husband after returning home late
from work.
According to preliminary reports, a heated argument broke
out between the couple, escalating into violence.
The suspect is said to have grabbed a kitchen knife and
stabbed Muthoni multiple times, killing her on the spot.
Neighbors who heard the commotion rushed to the scene but
arrived too late to save her life.
Police officers were called in, and the suspect was arrested
shortly after the incident.
Muthoni’s body was moved to the city mortuary pending a postmortem examination, while investigations into the killing continue.
