Thursday, July 18, 2024 - Azimio leader Raila Odinga is reportedly a very stingy man despite being one of the richest politicians in Kenya with multi-billion investments in the gas and oil industry.
So stingy is Raila that he instructs his long-serving
bodyguard Maurice Ogeto to copy-paste his shopping list and send it to all Luo
ODM MPs every month.
The MPs from the Luoland go to supermarkets every end month,
do shopping, and take it to Raila’s wife Mama Ida Odinga at their lavish Karen
home.
Raila is currently facing a lot of criticism for agreeing to
work with President Ruto, even as millions of Kenyans continue to express their
dissatisfaction with Ruto’s government.
It is alleged that Raila has been given billions of
shillings by Ruto and promised Cabinet slots.
Raila’s former advisor Miguna Miguna has always described him as a political conman.
