VIDEO captures a man being robbed by a motorbike-riding gang in broad daylight along the Northern Bypass

Thursday, July 23, 2026 - A video has emerged showing the moment a man was robbed of his phone by motorbike-riding thugs along the Northern Bypass as insecurity continues to escalate in different parts of the country.

The victim was seen walking by the roadside while scrolling through his phone, seemingly unaware that the suspects had targeted him.

Moments later, a motorcycle carrying two men approached him before the pillion passenger swiftly snatched the phone from his hand.

The suspects then sped off at high speed, leaving the victim badly shaken.

 He attempted to run after them, but his efforts proved futile as the motorcycle disappeared from the scene within seconds.

Cases of thugs riding on motorbikes and snatching phones, handbags, and other personal belongings have been on the rise in recent months, prompting renewed calls for members of the public to remain vigilant and avoid exposing valuables while walking along busy roads.
