Thursday, July 23, 2026- A family is mourning the tragic loss of a young couple whose lives were cut short just months after they celebrated their traditional wedding ceremony.
According to reports, Daisy and her husband, Tony, died in a
suspected gas explosion at their home in Cherang'any, Trans Nzoia County.
It is alleged that Daisy was preparing breakfast when a gas
leak triggered the deadly explosion, leading to a fire that claimed the lives
of the couple.
The two had only recently celebrated their traditional
wedding and were looking forward to building a life together after beginning
their marriage journey.
According to reports, the couple died at the scene before
they could be rescued.
The heartbreaking incident has left relatives, friends, and
members of the community in shock, with many taking to social media to mourn
the couple and share messages of condolence.
Photos from their traditional wedding have also resurfaced
online, reminding many of the joyful moments they shared as they celebrated
their love just a few months ago.
