Tragedy as Murkan Comprehensive School Principal, PAUL CHEPKWONY, is dragged into murder case after junior teacher kills girlfriend after discovering their affair - Kugongewa Ni Uchungu (PHOTOs)

Saturday, July 25, 2026 - Tragedy has struck Murkan Comprehensive School after a junior teacher, identified as Geoffrey Waley from Nakuru County, killed his girlfriend, Abigael Chepkemoi, a prison officer based at Sotik Prison.

According to reports, Geoffrey strangled Abigael, leading to her death.

It is further alleged that at around 5:01 a.m., Geoffrey posted an emotional message in the Emurua Dikirr teachers' WhatsApp group, writing: “Poleni sana... done and dusted. My HOI, Mr. Chepkwony, you are part of the people who pushed me to this extent”.

He also allegedly shared private photos of his late girlfriend and the principal in the WhatsApp group before they were deleted by the group's administrator.

The message has drawn attention to Murkan Comprehensive School Principal Paul Chepkwony, whom Geoffrey appeared to blame for his actions.
