Wednesday, March 18, 2026 - A video of the late Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa’s daughter has resurfaced, shedding light on the alleged mistreatment by their uncle, Eugene Wamalwa, after their father’s death.
In the video, Wamalwa’s daughter recounts how their uncle
refused to provide for their education and basic needs, leaving them in dire
circumstances.
She claims they sometimes went to bed hungry, and when they
approached Eugene for financial support, he reportedly suggested they sell
their family house.
The children also accused their uncle of attempting to
disinherit them and seize family properties, a matter that has previously been
in the public eye.
The video resurfaced shortly after President William Ruto
launched a scathing attack on Eugene Wamalwa during his tour of Bungoma,
accusing him of neglecting his late brother’s children and calling him a
“useless man.”
