Tuesday, February 24, 2026 - Activist Jackson Kuria, popularly known as Cop Shakur, has made explosive allegations against Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo, accusing him of using taxpayers’ money to fund goons to disrupt opposition activities.
Taking to his X account, Shakur claimed that the funds used
to mobilize the goons are drawn directly from the National Treasury.
He further alleged that ODM grassroots mobilizer, Calvince
Okoth, alias Gaucho, receives Ksh 150,000 weekly from PS Omollo to coordinate
the activities.
Shakur also claimed that a GSU officer attached to Kimbo is
facing intimidation after refusing to transport cash meant for distribution to
the said groups.
According to him, police were reportedly sent to ransack the
officer’s residence, and there are threats of disciplinary action against him.
This is not the first time PS Omollo has faced such claims.
Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino, linked him to chaos witnessed during the Linda Mwananchi rally in Kakamega, alleging that individuals who disrupted the event were state-sponsored.
