Thursday, January 15, 2026 - A small-scale trader from Kiambu has openly mocked Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi following the demolition of his businesses near Nyayo Stadium.
In a video shared online, the woman is seen erupting in joy
as she points to demolished stalls, saying they were once the source of
livelihood for many traders.
She recalls how the County Government, under Governor
Wamatangi’s leadership, ordered the demolition of their stalls, arguing that they
had been constructed on County land.
According to the trader, the demolitions left many families
jobless and struggling, with no compensation provided.
Ironically, Governor Wamatangi is now facing a similar
ordeal after the Government demolished his businesses near Nyayo Stadium,
