2025 - Drama unfolded in Ololmasani
Ward, Narok County, last night
after County staff were caught red-handed siphoning fuel from County-owned trucks that had been
lying idle for months.
According to reports shared online, the trucks had recently
been fuelled to full capacity after a long period of inactivity under the
pretext of “no fuel.”
However, just hours later, alert youths in the area, acting
on a tip-off, ambushed County workers as they siphoned the fuel for resale.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m, and the buyer was reportedly already on site with a boda boda ready
to ferry the stolen fuel.
Four containers of siphoned fuel were confiscated by the youths as evidence.
