Thursday, October 9, 2025 - Controversial Neno Evangelism Center founder, Pastor James Ng’ang’a, has responded to Nairobi Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, who recently called for his arrest over a viral video in which he appeared to confess to participating in assaulting a woman years ago.
Speaking on Wednesday, October 8th, Ng’ang’a
accused Passaris of targeting him unfairly and vowed to seek divine justice.
“I have nowhere to sue you in Parliament, and I know you’ll
make calls to have me arrested.”
“There is a God in heaven; one day you will pay for this,”
he said.
He further claimed Passaris had previously harassed him over
land issues and warned of “spiritual missiles” in retaliation.
The controversy stems from a video clip circulating on
social media, allegedly showing Ng’ang’a admitting to being part of an
eight-man group that assaulted a woman.
The footage has sparked widespread outrage and calls for
accountability.
Passaris urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigations
(DCI) to verify the video and take action.
“It is no laughing matter. We cannot move past such a
serious matter without holding space for real accountability,” she stated.
She added that if the confession is genuine, Ng’ang’a should
cooperate with authorities, identify the others involved, and help deliver
justice to the survivor.
“As a man of God, he should surrender himself to the
police,” Passaris said.
She emphasized the urgency of the matter, calling on the DCI
to act swiftly to protect the victim and uphold the rule of law.
