Thursday, June 19, 2025 - Shocking revelations have emerged from Nakuru, exposing a disturbing trend where rogue police officers are allegedly doubling as violent criminals at night, terrorizing the very residents they are supposed to protect.
In one such incident reported in the upscale Milimani area,
a boda boda rider fell victim to what appeared at first to be a routine
robbery, but what followed was even more horrifying.
According to a local journalist, the rider was violently
attacked by two men after dropping a passenger late at night.
He was beaten and robbed of his motorbike and money.
However, the real shock came the following day when the
rider visited a nearby police station to report the incident.
To his disbelief, he immediately recognized the two thugs
who attacked him - they were police officers stationed at the desk where he was
supposed to file his report.
When he asked to speak to the Officer Commanding Station
(OCS), the situation worsened.
Instead of assisting him, the OCS allegedly refused to
record his statement and referred him to another station.
Fearing for his safety after receiving threats, the rider
turned to the media to expose the rot.
