City lawyer SAMUEL OCHIENG cries out after being robbed clean by his wife - She disappeared with his household items as he attended LSK annual conference in Diani

Tuesday, September 1, 2026 - City lawyer Samuel Ochieng has narrated how he returned home from the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) annual conference in Diani to discover that several household items had disappeared.

In a post shared on social media, Ochieng claimed that he left his home on August 11, 2026, for the annual conference and returned on August 15, only to find his two television sets, fridge, water dispenser and microwave missing.

The lawyer said he owned two 55-inch television sets, one in the sitting room and another in the bedroom.

According to Ochieng, he had a minor quarrel with his wife shortly before travelling to Diani.

He said he expected the disagreement to be resolved after his return.

However, he claimed that instead of waiting for them to resolve their differences, his estranged wife took the household items and left.

“She, however, decided the best idea was to rob me and flee,” Ochieng wrote.

The lawyer said he was fortunate to have sold many of his books to fellow advocates during the Diani conference, leaving him with enough money to replace the missing items.

Interestingly, Ochieng said he chose not to report the matter to police, instead leaving the situation to what he described as “Karma.”

He further claimed that he quickly moved on from the relationship and entered another one within 24 hours.

Ochieng said he has not spoken to his wife since she left, adding that he has already forgotten the incident.

“I never learn, do I?” he concluded.
