2026 - Ida Odinga has dismissed speculation about her entry into politics,
clarifying that her focus remains outside the political arena.
Speaking to the press, the Kenyan Ambassador and
Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme emphasized she has
no intention of vying for any elective seat.
Ida explained that her recent silence was not a political
strategy but a personal period of mourning following the death of her husband,
Raila Odinga.
“When I lost my husband, Honourable Raila Odinga, I was
still in the state of mourning, which was very important to me,” she said.
“Therefore, I was not able to come out and participate in
any political arrangement that you people are talking about.”
She underscored her identity as an industrialist rather than
a politician, contrasting her career path with that of her family members.
“Personally, I am not a politician. My husband was, my
daughter is; my brother-in-law is also a politician; people around me are, but
I am an industrialist and not a politician,” she reiterated.
Despite her influential position, Ida maintained that she
will continue serving in her diplomatic role, leaving politics to those already
active within her family.
Her remarks come amid heightened political realignments
ahead of 2027, with several Odinga family members declaring ambitions.
Among them is Raila’s elder daughter, Winnie Odinga, who has
stepped up her involvement in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), positioning
herself for a greater role.

Does she look like a presidential candidate?
ReplyDeleteShe is a total tabularasa and a parasite riding on the fossil Raila Odinda the crime brother and vampire as the useless githinji ruto.
We should only vote for a presidential person who will not pay any odious debt borrowed and looted at the same time with imbeciles lavishing with properties funded by loot.
This widow is a shit as all the shits opting to be president in 2027.The gen-z will vote for the idiot sifuna who has no stand on odious debts, and these includes Gachagua, Kalonzo, Matiangi, and etc.
We should front Omtata, Wanjigi, Maraga and Wajakoya (if he will state that he will not pay any odious debts). The rest and full of shit and making noise as empty debe and they square the inter-personal egos on falling out but they are not presidential material of the republic of Kenya come 2027.
