Monday, December 22, 2025 - A multimillion-shilling long-distance bus was torched and reduced to ashes by rogue boda boda riders in Salgaa along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway, following a road accident involving the bus driver.

Reports indicate that the driver reportedly knocked down a boda boda rider, triggering anger among other riders at the scene.

In retaliation, the group set the bus on fire, destroying the vehicle completely.
