Monday, November 3, 2025 - A shocking video circulating on social media has left many Kenyans stunned after a defiant young man filmed himself mocking an armed police officer while openly flaunting bhang in Nairobi’s Eastlands area.
In the viral clip, the visibly intoxicated man is seen
confronting the officer, accusing him of previously threatening his life.
Without fear, the man boldly points at the officer and
taunts him, saying, “Huyu ndio askari alikua ananitishia maisha. Alikua
anasema ataniua na hii bunduki yake ya kuua panya”.
As if that wasn’t enough, he goes on to ridicule the officer
further, claiming that he had just collected a bribe from nearby charcoal
sellers before daring him to make an arrest.
“Ametoka kuokota hongo hapo kwa makaa,” the man says,
before pulling out a roll of bhang and waving it at the officer, taunting, “Kuja
unishike sasa!”
The bizarre encounter has sparked mixed reactions online,
with some Kenyans condemning the man’s open disrespect for law enforcement,
while others questioned the officer’s composure and the lack of immediate
action.
