2025 - A routine Bolt trip turned tragic after the driver of a hired
vehicle was hijacked by three men and a
woman who had requested a ride from Makadara Railway Station to Maanzoni Lodge near the Machakos Junction.
According
to reports, the group overpowered the driver midway through the journey.
He
was later dumped in a bush past Salama,
shaken and stranded in the dark.
The
suspects allegedly removed the
vehicle’s tracker before disappearing with the car, leaving authorities
with limited leads.
The
vehicle’s owner, a lady who fully relied on the car, is said to be devastated, frustrated, and extremely
confused as she grapples with the shocking loss.
Police investigations are underway as efforts to trace the stolen vehicle continue.
