PSC reveals 10 candidates shortlisted for Registrar of Political Parties post, interviews set for August 11!



Thursday, August 7, 2025 - The Public Service Commission (PSC) has unveiled a list of 10 shortlisted candidates for the position of Registrar of Political Parties, with interviews scheduled for Monday, August 11th, 2025.

In a notice issued on Thursday, August 8th, the PSC named the candidates as Ali Abdullahi Surrar (Mandera), Sophia Kaindi Sitati Mudhengi (Nyeri), Geoffrey Obonyo (PWD, Kisii), Evelynne Cherotich Koiyan (Narok), Aloyce Peter Ndege (Kisumu), Mercy Kalondu Wambua (Machakos), Dr. Manna W. E. Rodgers (Bungoma), Rahma Adan Jillo (Marsabit), Lorionokou John Cox (West Pokot) and Florence Tabu Birya (Kilifi).

Additionally, 10 candidates were also shortlisted for the position of Assistant Registrar of Political Parties.

They include Seth Odhiambo Onyango, Josephine Kirion Ergaeo, Simon Owawa Nyamolo (PWD), Chebett Koske, Julius Cheche, Peter Mutui, Agatha Wanjiku Wahome, Mohamed Abdullahi Abdi, Robert Psakit Botter and Gilbert William Opanga.

All interviews will be held at PSC offices on Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.

Candidates are expected to arrive at least 20 minutes early and carry original ID cards, academic and professional certificates, and valid clearances from KRA, EACC, HELB, CRB, DCI, and CUE (for foreign degrees).

The PSC also invited the public to submit any relevant information about the candidates via sworn affidavits by Friday, August 8th, 2025.
