Tuesday, July 29, 2025 - Vocal blogger Aoko Otieno has dragged Captain Ruth Karauri, the estranged wife of SportPesa CEO and Kasarani MP, Ronald Karauri, into the spotlight with explosive claims of an alleged romantic involvement with President William Ruto’s powerful Personal Assistant, Farouk Kibet.
Taking to social media, Aoko didn’t hold back as she hinted
that Captain Ruth, a celebrated Kenya Airways pilot known for her
professionalism and elegance, allegedly meets Farouk for secret escapades.
Captain Ruth, who rose to public fame for her calm handling
of a difficult landing during a storm at Heathrow in 2022, has largely
maintained a low profile despite the high-profile nature of her marriage, and
eventual fallout, with the flashy MP and betting mogul, Ronald Karauri.
In the same explosive tweet, Aoko linked Karauri to a gay
affair with Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
