Wednesday, July 16, 2025 - Drama unfolded in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) after a visibly drunk motorist caused an accident and tried to flee the scene.
The driver, who appeared heavily intoxicated, lost control
of the vehicle near Utalii Lane, causing it to veer off the road and land
precariously on roadside poles.
Fortunately, no pedestrians were injured during the
incident.
In a video shared online, the motorist is seen attempting to
escape the scene, staggering as concerned citizens and boda boda riders
surround his car.
Patrol police officers took control of the situation and
arrested him.
