Tuesday, May 20, 2025 - Jarajila Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA), Noor Sheikh Farah, is under fire after being caught on surveillance footage wreaking havoc at a local restaurant while wielding a knife.
The shocking incident, which occurred in Garissa County, has
stirred a public outcry and raised serious questions about the MCA's mental
state and fitness for public office.
In the now-viral footage, MCA Farah is seen storming into
the restaurant, visibly agitated and holding a large kitchen knife.
Chaos quickly ensue as he begins turning over seats and
chasing frightened customers, forcing both patrons and staff to flee for
safety.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as terrifying, with many
suggesting the MCA appeared "mentally disturbed" and was possibly
targeting a specific individual.
The video has circulated widely online, prompting calls for
the relevant authorities to investigate the matter and take swift disciplinary
action.
As of now, no official statement has been issued by the
Garissa County Assembly or law enforcement.
