GACHAGUA praises CS KITHURE KINDIKI for restoring peace and security in the country

 Wednesday, January 17, 2024 - Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has praised Interior Cabinet Secretary, Prof Kithure Kindiki, for restoring peace and security in the country.

Speaking during the launch of the affordable housing programme in Nanyuki on Tuesday, Gachagua said the country is currently enjoying security courtesy of the leadership of the soft-spoken CS.

According to Gachagua, the country has never witnessed a more peaceful era than the current one under President Willia Ruto's administration.

"Kindiki has been in charge of security, and now the country is silent. 

"For the last 20 years, Kenya has not had peace and security like it is now with Kindiki at the helm of the interior docket and under the overall leadership of President William Ruto," Gachagua said.

 At the same time, Gachagua praised leaders from Mt Kenya who have been appointed by the Kenya Kwanza administration to various positions, saying they have not disappointed the president.

 "And I want to thank the people from this region who have been given jobs by the government because they have not disappointed the president," the second in command stated.
