Monday, August 24, 2026 - Kenya Commercial Bank Chief Risk Officer Faith Basiye has been accused of mistreating Head of Data Protection Rosemary Kimwatu, contributing to her depression even as she struggled with marital problems.

According to sources, Faith constantly bullied Kimwatu, forcing her to work under duress.

Before she took her own life, Rosemary had reportedly reached out to the Human Resources Manager through emails, complaining about her boss and the treatment she was subjected to at work.

She also tried to air her grievances to the company’s CEO, Paul Russo, but no action was taken, according to the sources.

Sadly, Rosemary lost her battle with depression and took her own life.

Her lifeless body was discovered at her rented home in Ngong, even as details emerge that she had also separated from her husband.

Below are photos of Faith, the late Rosemary’s boss.
