Monday January 27, 2020 - Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has changed his mind again about supporting former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his BBI nonsense even after the former PM and the BBI initiative team allowed him to attend their event.
Speaking on Sunday after attending the installation ceremony of presiding Bishop Abraham Mulwa at AIC Milimani, Kuria vowed not to support ODM leader, Raila Amolo Odinga, again after what happened in Mombasa.
The lawmaker said that he was not happy with the fact that his colleagues demanded that everyone calls Raila "Baba".
He argued that remarks from some leaders were not welcoming adding that he will not change his tune as far as the report is concerned.
"It was a Constitutional requirement yesterday to call Raila baba", Kuria said.
To show his seriousness, Kuria noted that he is ready to go to hell if the requirement to go to heaven is to back Raila.
Kuria also insisted that he is an independent person adding that he will not relent on speaking the truth whenever he feels aggrieved by any issue in life.
"If supporting Raila is the ticket to heaven, let me go to hell," Kuria said.
Kuria and his Tanga Tanga colleagues faced hostility on Saturday during the BBI rally in Mombasa.
The allies of Deputy President William Ruto were roughed up several times while attending the event.
Raila was forced to halt the rally prematurely after he sensed tension at the Mama Ngina Drive.
