Thursday, December 5, 2019 - Embattled Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, was spotted trying to reach out to President Uhuru Kenyatta when he was attending a function at Mangu Catholic Mission Church in Gatundu North on Wednesday.
Waititu, who is facing serious corruption charges after he was linked to the embezzlement of County funds, was seen getting closer to the President while in a small talk with church leaders after the function, looking like a cat that had been rained on.
However, the President, who has declared total war against corruption, ignored the embattled Governor who was desperately seeking his attention.
Uhuru has in the past snubbed Waititu in several functions.
The once vocal politician is now on his own.
