Tuesday, December 10, 2019 - Jamaican reggae singer, Chris Martin, has responded to mugging reports that tainted his Big Deal Concert last weekend at Impala Grounds in Nairobi.

The ‘Cheater’s Prayer’ hit-maker says he was disappointed to learn that some criminals took the opportunity to rob revelers who had braved the rain just to attend his live show.

Taking to twitter, Martin who put on an electric 3 hour live performance wrote:

“Now… I see a few reports about my concert in Nairobi this past weekend and how my performance was marred by muggers and the lack of proper security.
“Whilst performing I did see a few scuffles that threw me off but I didn’t know the magnitude of what was happening,”

“I’d like to extend my sincerest apologies to those affected by those criminals who targeted my awesome supporters who braved the inclement weather to come, enjoy and sing some #SweetSugahReggae wid mi! Mi vex yf,”

On the same breath, the celebrated singer promised his fans that he will come back for another concert which he promises will be bigger and better.
