Wednesday September 4, 2019 - Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna, has once again hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family over the destruction of Mau Forest.
Sharing his thoughts online on Thursday, Miguna, who is in exile in Canada, claimed that Timsales - a Company owned by the first family - was the worst and largest logger and destroyer of Kenyan forests and in specific the Mau Water Tower.
“Timsales, the worst and largest logger and destroyer of Kenyan forests and the Mau Water Tower belongs to Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and his family,” Miguna said.
He also accused former Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto, and former President Daniel Moi of being among individuals who have grabbed Mau Forest.
“The more than 30,000 acres of forest and public land on which Daniel Moi's Kiptagich Tea Farm, Isaac Ruto's and Cheruiyot's huge farms sit were grabbed from the Mau Water Tower yet these land-grabbers aren't being evicted.”
“Only peasants are being brutalized and humiliated,’’ Miguna stated.
