This is after President Uhuru Kenyatta closed all corruption loopholes in his administration.
Before Uhuru began his purge against corruption, Murkomen was among senior Government officials who were receiving Sh 2 million on weekly basis from rogue parastatal bosses.
In fact during the early days of this administration, Murkomen purchased a plot in the Karen suburb and he was building a Sh 300 million house.
But since the taps have run dry, Murkomen, who is also the Majority Leader in the Senate, is unable to finish his house and is currently begging other Senators money to complete the House.
“He is broke and he is now begging money to complete his palatial house,” said a vocal ODM Senator, who is a close friend of the Jubilee senator.
Murkomen is among senior Government officials who were implicated in the infamous Sh 9 billion National Youth Service scandal and the Sh 22 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams’ scandal.
