Shock as a witness in RUTO's murder plot is arrested by DCI after conflicting testimony-The DP and ITUMBI are now in deep trouble

Thursday September 12, 2019-Directorate of Criminal Investigation officers narrowed down and roughed up a witness who had applied to be withdrawn from Deputy President William Ruto's alleged assassination plot.

According to reports, Samuel Gateri was arrested yesterday by the sleuths at a Nairobi hotel where he was meeting his lawyer, Goergiadis Majimbo.

He was hauled up to Shauri Moyo police station.

The lawyer revealed that the detectives raided the hotel in two cars and forcefully arrested the witness without stating his charges or even introducing themselves.

"I tried to intervene to establish why he was being arrested, but the officers, and we don't know whether they are really officers or not. They were violent, bundled him in a car and sped off," stated Majimbo.

What astounded most was that the DCI had officially stated that they did not have a clue of who Gateri was and dismissed reports that he was lined up to testify in Digital Strategist, Dennis Itumbi's, fake assassination letter case.

"We wish to clarify that contrary to insinuation by one Samwel Gateri that he’s a state witness in respect to the criminal case against one Ole Itumbi, is false and misleading," an excerpt of the tweet disclosed.

Earlier reports indicated how DCI officers apparently forced Gateri to implicate the DP in the alleged assassination plot against him.

"I was under arrest and they told me that they would go ahead and execute me if I did not confirm I had a telephone conversation with the DP and Dennis Itumbi."

"They further threatened that they would take me to a high ranking security personnel in government so that I could be dealt with," Gateri alleged in his affidavit.
