Wednesday September 18,2019 - The widow of the late Kibra MP, Ken Okoth, Monica Okoth, has surprised the nation after objecting to the DNA results showing that her late husband sired a child with nominated Nairobi MCA, Anne Nthumbi.
In a suit before a Nairobi Court on Wednesday, Monica indicated that she has in her possession results proving otherwise.
A court has therefore ordered Monica to present the said results within 15 days.
Okoth’s mother on the hand accepted the results and asked the court to terminate Thumbi’s case.
DNA results released on September 3rd showed that the late lawmaker was a 99.9 percent a match to the 4 year old boy.
Samples that were tested were collected from Okoth’s body before it was cremated last month following family wrangles.
Following his death, Thumbi sued Okoth’s mother, Angeline and Monica, along with Lee Funeral Home for ignoring her and her son during preparations for Okoth’s cremation.
The late Ken Okoth mentioned the 4 year old minor in his will.
