Tuesday September 17, 2019 - The postmortem of slain Dutch tycoon, Tob Cohen, has been postponed after his wife, Sarah Wairimu, accused State pathologist, Dr Peter Ndegwa, of being compromised by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), George Kinoti.
Speaking in Chiromo mortuary, Wairimu through her lawyer, Philip Murgor, said she objected to Ndegwa's presence because he might lean on the DCI’s side.
"The postmortem will not happen today due to technicalities.”
“I was in the scene of the crime.”
“The defense team feel that is should not represent the Government.”
“So Johansen Oduor who was on leave has agreed to temporarily resume work for the exercise tomorrow," Ndegwa said.
Cohen's body was found at his Kitisuru home last week.
Sarah Wairimu is currently at Langata Women’s Prison over the murder which Kinoti described as gruesome.
However, she has maintained that she was framed by DCI and she was not in any way involved in the murder.
