Wednesday September 18, 2019 - Jubilee's Kibra flagbearer, McDonald Mariga, has emerged victorious in yet another case filed against him.

This is after the Political Parties’ Tribunal Court dismissed yet another one of his hurdles ahead of Kibra by-election.

Political Parties’ Tribunal Court Chairperson, Kyalo Mbobu, dismissed an application by Morris Peter Kinyanjui, who wanted Mariga barred from running in the Kibra by-election under the Jubilee ticket.

Kinyanjui was bitter after losing the Jubilee Party ticket to Mariga.

He went on to accuse Jubilee of rigging in Mariga.

According to Kyalo Mbobu, the avenue in which Kinyanjui filed his petition was wrong.

Mbobu further stated that the court has no jurisdiction, whatsoever, to hear the matter.

The court indicated that the Jubilee Party candidate’s nomination certificate has already been accepted by Jubilee's electoral board and the IEBC and advised Kinyanjui to look for remedy elsewhere.

Kinyanjui was bitter after losing the Jubilee Party ticket to Mariga.

He went on to accuse Jubilee of rigging in Mariga and later filed a petition in court on Tuesday, September 17.

"His candidature will be an impossible sell to the people of Kibra given the calibre of MP we had in the immediate past,” Kinynjui trolled Mariga after filing a petition.
