Tuesday September 11,2019 - Kiharu MP, Ndindi Nyoro, has said that he is ready to emulate the late former Kiharu MP, Kenneth Matiba, who was fearless and the “real father of democracy” in Kenya.

In an interview with a local daily, Nyoro accused some aging politicians like former Starehe MP, Maina Kamanda, of coercing the Central Kenya electorate to vote for a certain individual in the 2022 presidential elections.

The first term legislator also accused Maina and Team Kieleweke of having controlled resources for ages, adding that they are trying to impose someone who can protect them.

According to him, the team has been stealing from poor people, whom he's out to protect.

"I’m elected by the people and it is them I listen to.”

“They should not be bulldozed to follow a certain direction to please a few rich people,” Nyoro said.

“They must never lie to themselves that they can buy off the souls and hearts of the poor people with their money and it’s time for the poor to know that the money the rich people have belongs to them and their families,” Nyoro added.

The lawmaker further accused Interior PS, Karanja Kibicho, of using police like a fool to intimidate him.
