Tuesday September 3, 2019-Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has said he will not support Jubilee Party candidate in the upcoming Kibra by-election.
Already Jubilee had identified legendary Kenyan footballer, Macdonald Mariga, as the person who will fly the ruling party flag in the by- election slated for November 7.
Commenting on social media on Monday, Kuria cautioned Deputy President William Ruto over dragging Mariga into politics.
Kuria stated that Ruto should let the former Inter Milan player concentrate on improving football and nurturing the talents of young people.
“Siasa itakuwepo leo, kesho na mtondogoo (Politics will be there today, tomorrow and the days to come). William Ruto, let the young man be.He will live to join this silly, dirty game of politics another day,” tweeted Kuria.
The controversial lawmaker said the right person to take over the vacant seat held by the late Ken Okoth would be ODM’s nominee Benson Musungu.
“The person I vouch for to take forward from where Ken left is another Born in Kibra, Benson Musungu,” Kuria said.
