suffering in the hands of their abusive spouses but they are afraid to speak
out.
In African tradition, it’s a taboo for a man to be battered
by his wife and that’s why men, who are victims of domestic violence, prefer to
suffer in silence instead of seeking for help.
In places like Central Kenya, there are a lot of
undocumented cases where men are turned into cripples by their abusive wives.
This poor man who is a victim of domestic violence was
caught on camera being beaten like a toddler by his heavily built wife.
The helpless man was slapped like a burukenge and wrestled
to the ground by his wife as the public watched.
The boychild is under siege.
